I don't think most people appreciate how hard planning a wedding is. It's the biggest event most of us will ever host, and we're supposed to make it come off seamlessly despite choosing a date a year or more in advance. While we're lucky enough to be able to count on nice days here in Colorado for most of the Summer and Fall, Winter and Spring are fickle outdoor set designers and have ruined my own less grand weekend plans more than I'd like to admit.
That's why It takes a courageous and optimistic couple to plan their wedding for February. Fortunately, courage and optimism, which Amber and Brody seem to have in spades are also invaluable strengths to bring into a marriage. Based on what their friends and family had to say, these two are off to a better-than-fantastic start in marriage.
Their February gamble paid off. We had a warm day with not even a trace of snow and were able to take many gorgeous photos outside without shivering. Unfortunately this meant the course was packed golfers, which presented their own hazards, but I suppose we can't win everything.
