Candace and Justin have a very special place in my heart. They are enthusiastic delightful people. They LOVE Disney…like visit Disneyland much more often that is strictly practical for adults love it. Candace even walked down the aisle to that song from Pixar’s “Up” that is the iconic tear jerking 5 minutes telling the story of Ellie and Carl’s married life. I’m trying not to cry typing this description, that’s how amazing that pixar piece was. OH MAN. Please note, unsurprisingly, that Justin has a hit of a tear in his eye when he first sees Candace heading down the waterfall. That's right. The Aisle at the gorgeous Craftwood Inn in Colorado Springs is a WATERFALL. I can't say enough about this amazing wedding.
One of my favorite things about these two (and boy is that a long list) is how they met. Candace’s dad plays in a jazz band and Justin was recruited to be their trombone player. I’m not even kidding. Candace and Justin both love music, and not just the high-brown classically trained stuff that they're both good at. Candace and her bridesmaids randomly broke into Eminem's "Loose Yourself" acapella before the ceremony, and the dancing ended with a circle of friends and family (and me) all singing along to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."
I dare you to look at Candace’s smiling face and not break into a grin yourself.
Will and I photographed Candace and Justin's wedding together in our signature styles. Take a look at my gallery of the day first, followed by Will's incredible Photojournalistic images below.
